Returns
If you feel you have not received your book in the condition advertised, PLEASE CONTACT US IN THE FIRST INSTANCE at realbookshop@gmail.com, or through this website.
Books are only returnable if they were not sold as described. All items must be returned in the same condition as they were received, for a refund to be considered. At The Real Book Shop's descretion, photographs may suffice. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at realbookshop@gmail.com.
Exchanges (if applicable)
Generally, we are unable to exchange items, because we only stock one of each of most of our items.
Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: 16 Pennsylvania Way, Portland, Dorset, DT5 1FJ, UK
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. If you are offered a refund, this will include your original shipping cost and your return shipping cost. The refund will be activated once we have received your return and assessed you are due a refund.
If the item of a low monetary value, we may not require any return at all.
If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
